Create a reenactment of a photograph of protestors, in support of George Floyd and worldwide protests on Juneteenth. Before starting the project, it would be best to listen to or read one or more of the children's books listed below.
1. Find a photograph of protestors and print it out. We used this one.
2. Have your child create their own version of the protestors' posters.
3. Cutout areas within the printed photographs of the protesters that could fit your child. The cutouts can be with arms interlocked, fists raised, holding signs.
4. Hold the printed photograph with cutout areas in front of your camera. Have your child stand in a location that fills the cutout areas. Focus your camera on the child, not the printed paper.
5. You are reenacting these photographs in solidarity for protesters.
